Samuel Inkoom

Samuel Inkoom is a professional Ghanaian footballer who was born on June 1, 1989, in Sekondi-Takoradi. From an early age he was fascinated by sports, and among his favorites has always been football.

This game, which has long been extremely popular in Ghana, gave him a complete picture of his physical abilities, and most importantly, the hope that in the future he himself could become one of those who would be looked at with admiration. Of course, this path promised to be extremely difficult, because in this country hundreds and even thousands of children strive to become professionals in football, but in reality, such an opportunity is provided to only a few.

Back in school, Samuel Inkoom understood that the competition would be extremely serious, so he needed to show the maximum of what he is capable of. Already at the age of 10, he participated in the Junior Juventus Academy where he played in children's teams. Even at such a young age, the guy was already showing good results, thanks to which he gained the faith of coaches in future success. Of course, it was only a child's level, but good coaches can understand the potential of a real athlete.

Since 2000, Samuel Inkoom has been a member of Windy Academy, where he continued to hone his skills. This period can probably be called one of the most important in his life because it was there that he realized that football for him is much more than just a hobby or a game. It was with football that the guy decided to connect his life, so it was during this period that he had to show all his skills to get a chance to play in professional teams. The amount of time Samuel Inkoom spent in training is even hard to describe in words. Almost all free time was spent, if not on training, then on a more detailed study of the game. Understanding tactics, finding weaknesses and strengths and the right psychological approach play no less important role than physical training itself.

From 2000 to 2007, Samuel Inkoom showed increasingly impressive results, which eventually made him one of the team's top favorites. This was undoubtedly personal merit of Samuel, because only thanks to his incredible desire to become a true professional, in 2007 he finally had the opportunity to join the professional club Sekondi Hasaacas, and realize his long-held dream.

Of course, the game in the professional arena was quite different from previous leagues. All the players went through the same difficult path to success, so the games promised to be intense. That's what happened. Already the first matches made Samuel understand that together with such professionals he will have to train to the fullest so as not to get lost in their shadow. In 2008, a new opportunity opened up for the footballer, which Samuel Inkoom gladly took advantage of. This opportunity was to join the legendary team Asante Kotoko. Although Samuel Inkoom spent only a year in it, it was an unforgettable experience that helped to better understand the game and discover new ways in sports.

Since 2009, the player has managed not only to become part of the Swiss football team Basel but also to be part of the Ghana U20 team. Playing with such teams and in two professional arenas not only provided an inexhaustible experience but also taught them how to properly manage strength and time, which was now limited. From 2009 to 2011, Samuel Inkoom had a very successful career as a member of Basel FC, after which he joined the Ukrainian team Dnipro. He played in this team for 3 years, namely from 2011 to 2014. Although there were some curiosities during the game, as in previous cases, the game in FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk gave the player even more confidence and experience which he continues to actively use today.

In September 2014, Samuel Inkoom joined the American team D.C. United, based in Washington. His presence in this team was quite short because in 2015 Samuel joined the Portuguese football club Boavista, which took part in the Portuguese Premier League. His experience in foreign teams continued actively after participating in this football club. Already in 2016, he became part of the Turkish football club Antalyaspor, from which in 2017 he moved to the Bulgarian FC Vereva. To date, in addition to those listed, Samuel Inkoom has also managed to be in teams such as Dunav Ruse, Samtredia, and Torpedo Kutaisi. Of course, it is necessary to mention the participation in international tournaments as part of the national team of Ghana.

Of course, Samuel Inkoom has visited many teams around the world during his career, but one thing has always remained the same - he is a true patriot of his country because it is thanks to her that his future has become inseparable from his favorite game. Of course, this took a lot of time and effort, but today we can say with confidence that it was worth it.

Despite his, not the simplest nature, Samuel Inkoom's principles remain unchanged to this day. If you really want to achieve your goal, then just talking about it is the wrong way to get closer. You have to work. Constantly and a lot. Without sparing yourself, in the morning, at noon, or in the evening. Does not matter. The main thing is to develop the right regime for yourself and follow it constantly. Only in this way does the dream have a chance to become a reality.

Today at any time you can see this on the pages of Samuel Inkoom on social networks. There he actively shares with subscribers moments from his life, training, or simply expresses his thoughts on the account of an event. The athlete has more than 170,000 followers on Instagram alone. This number of people makes it clear that the path chosen by Samuel Inkoom is close to many hundreds of people, and the love of sports they share knows no bounds.

There is no doubt that wherever we see Samuel Inkoom in the future, he will be taught 100% to ensure that his team is always first.
