In addition my jaaja makes a lot of these mats so I wanted to feel like she was there with me while competing In the competition. The design was very much visualized in my head and I wanted to have something that complemented my body shape and the hat just helped me achieve the majestic look I was going for'.

Vanessa will be the face and voice of the Miss Uganda UK campaign alongside “Draw a Smile” Uganda, a charity that focuses on empowering young mother's in Uganda.
