LOVA

Lova Alvilde or better known as LOVA is a Swedish pop and indie singer, songwriter, and producer who gained national recognition with her single - “You Me and the Silence”. 

The girl grew up in Stockholm. From an early age, she fell in love with music, and at the age of seven, she began to make her own music. During her school years, she became interested in many sports, and some of them even did, but none of them could surpass her love of music. One of the additional factors is the fact that her father studied opera. She and her brother gathered at the piano, where her father played singing songs. Later, as a teenager, she began posting her songs on the Internet, particularly on YouTube. She did not have any definite musical influence as a child. According to her, she did not look for idols. Her love for music had no limits. She listened to everything she liked, regardless of genre. Later, growing up, Lova began to look closely at artists who did not follow trends but remained themselves and made music that was important to them. This attitude to music coincided with the philosophy of Love herself. Her desire for music and thirst for improvement helped her get into music school and even participate in music competitions. This allowed her to gain experience and confidence and release several songs under her name Lova Alvilde in 2015. 

The following years for the Lova turned out to be transitional from an amateur performer to a full-fledged artist. All this time, she continued to write songs and improve her craft, and this became very noticeable in 2018 when she released her single "You Me and The Silence" which became an international hit. The recognition of music critics, publications, and, most importantly, listeners became a strong start in the singer's career. Later in the same 2018, she released her first EP, "Scripted Reality," as it appealed to many listeners. This international recognition allowed her to start touring, where, despite her young age, her songs were known on the other side of the world. Perhaps one of the components of the singer's success was her attitude to songwriting. Lova songs are full of motives from one's own life, such as self-belief, finding one's place in life, love, insecurity, and finding something good, even if everything seems bleak. This theme is complemented by a variety of musical accompaniments, which in most cases are associated with dance-pop or indie motifs. 

2019, in general, seemed a decent continuation of her success. Several singles and a new EP "A Gentleman's Guide" have been released, some songs from which talk about topics that are important for teenage boys and girls, such as the right attitude towards each other and some problems from their own lives and ways to solve them.

In 2020, despite the difficulties associated with the world situation, she continues to release singles and plans to release her full-fledged debut album, which she is currently working on. In January 2021, LOVA finally released their debut album called "Grown-ish". Songs from this album such as "Black Converse", "Lonely Ones" and "Dance For The Hell Of It" became the favorites of the listeners, which was confirmed by the number of listens and music platforms such as Spotify. The song "Black Converse" alone has scored more than 12 million streams there.
