Laurie Shapiro is one of the most talented artists from the United States. The young woman with an amazing, attractive, and distinctive look fonds of creating psychedelic immersive art producing paintings, murals, and sculptures.

Her masterpieces were recognized as really outstanding works that have been widely exhibited in solo and group events across the US. Laurie Shapiro has created a lot of “art rooms” that are filled with her creative things. Their walls are fully painted by wonderful patterns, made-up portraits, flowers, and so on that together form a whole picture of something unexplained and delicate. Laurie also is a true lover of style mixing because it allows creating something more fresh and exciting. For example, some of her paintings are made with painting, sewing, and screen prints on muslin. Shapiro's mixed-media large-scale, screen-printed, tapestry-like, sewed and painted individual panels of fabric are inspiring kindred spirits.

Laurie decided to have the career of an artist when she studied in high school. From a young age, the girl loved art so much, and her parents supported the daughter in this hobby. When she was a college student, Laurie had figured out what art field is more preferred for her. Since that time, she is fond of art mixing, especially of combining painting on interior things, canvas, walls, floor, with sewing, creating murals, and even sculptures. Her most interesting thing is the creation of pieces of installation art such as art rooms or a set of art rooms wherein walls, floor, ceiling, and interior things are painted and contain or are other creative products. Of course, it takes a lot of time and effort to create at least one such room. But Shapiro assures that she can't become inactive, she creates new masterpieces almost all her time. By Laurie Shapiro’s words, "As an artist, you’re a prisoner in life but free when you’re making artwork. Everything that happens in this life - it forms your artwork. No matter what you do, you’re always having ideas come to you. You’re living in a different reality. When you’re making art you can give all of that back, you are free to do whatever." To be a talented and productive artist - it is the woman’s life purpose. Anyway, she is inspired to create already for a long period of time.

One of the artist’s works is titled “All Yoni Is Love” is a sequel to her previous work “Before You Were Born”, which was showcased earlier this year and attracted art cognoscente from around the globe. “All Yoni Is Love” transports audiences into an experiential and immersive ethereal dimension of individually painted “yoni-flowers,” stylized large paintings, reflective mylar, and hanging orbs of light. One of the newest Laurie’s works is “Take Me To the Color” artwork. It’s a seven-room immersive installation, wherein every room has its own color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Every color corresponds to one of seven chakras. One room leads to the next, thus, there is forming incredible art travel where every new place or room causes specific feelings and impressions. The artwork is primarily made of textile-based mixed-media paintings. It consists of a lot of flowers and beautiful patterns that are combined repetitively in order to create a visual meditation. Inspired by beauty, truth, and love, Shapiro created this artwork to bring audiences the same feeling of healing, peace, and oneness she feels when immersed in nature.

In the interview for the Ceek, Laurie Shapiro said: “The job of the artists to connect people to themselves”. The creation of any artwork is based on an artist's feeling of the world. Our feelings can't lie. And every artist is responsible to unearth the truth of things. Only truth can make us closer to ourselves. Art inspires us, raises our awareness, meets the aesthetic necessity, it is an expression of human creativity as an embodiment of beauty and excellence. As a talented artist, Shapiro never stops to create masterpieces of her unique art and impress us more and more with every new artwork.
