A promising pop singer and enthusiastic songwriter from the Land of Opportunity Jenny March is new to the show business and music industry.
However, her strong desire to create something special helps her to catch the attention of the audience and melomans all over the world. Jenny claims that the process of songwriting is quite easy for her, as she has an unstoppable flow of words, which create chains - sentences and, as a result, soul-touching lyrics. The music reflects her young life, feelings and emotions from sadness to excitement, from fear to frustration. But the main message of her music is that girls can have fun as well as all the others. Each girl can party, chill or go out as many guys do regularly. Another important thing Jenny tries to make vivid is the absence of any worries concerning anyone else’s opinion. She believes each person is the only one to rule her/his own life and no one else should make tension on its friend, relative, or even son/daughter.
Jenny March was brought up in the outskirts of the major and the biggest city of the US state Ohio - Cincinnati. The girl was really fond of music and has shown her talent since her early childhood. Jenny began to sing and perform by the tender age of three. The girl’s parents decided it would be the best decision for their daughter to take classical vocal training and piano lessons. Besides music lessons, March was the attendee of the New York’s prestigious Stagedoor Manor performing arts training center for five years ahead. Each summer the center was searching for a new generation of future stars and artists. Being a 14-years-old teenager, the prospective artist settled an issue about moving to Los Angeles with her mother and making all the possible efforts to penetrate the entertainment industry and got to know artists Jenny had admired since her childhood.
Jenny March admits the only thing needed and effective at that time was to start working and being productive. She also confessed that she unfortunately and unexpectedly was bullied in primary, secondary, and high school by her classmates. Thus she thought it would be a great idea to leave the city she was not happy in - Cincinnati. Moving to the City of Los Angeles brought significant changes to her teenage life. It was just an amazing experience for Jenny, as far as everything felt possible to do and achieve. March believed she should do something creative in her life and not just spend 8 hours 5 days a week in a crowded office. Another reason for moving to L.A. was the fact that it was quite hard to meet a singer, actor or another artist in Ohio. Correspondingly, Jenny was eager to be among imaginative and gifted people somewhere else.
While working on her main craft - music and songwriting, Jenny March began starring in movies of various genres. Along with American actress Marisa Tomei and singer & songwriter Minnie Driver, they played roles in the horror film about an unlawful experiment titled “Laboratory Conditions”. Another film the girls were seen in is the short haunting story of the Stanford rape victim called “The Stanford Letter”. The most recent screen appearance was a 12-minute Secret Deodorant anti-bullying episode running under the title “Meanamorphosis”. At the same time, Jenny gave special attention to a singular sound being really inspired by the brash, tattooed post-alt pop of an American singer & songwriter and activist Halsey and rapper Jon Bellion and the enormous ambition of R&B diva Rihanna and legendary singer, songwriter and dancer Britney Spears. Maybe it sounds a little shabby, but Jenny was honestly eager to do something, which would disclose her unique personality.
The owner of the powerful vocals needed to take some additional inspiration for her forthcoming debut extended play. For this reason, she collaborated with producer Tony Rodini, who also promoted such artists as Blackbear, Weezer, Terror Jr. during 2017.
One of her first singles “California Daze” introduced the new artist - Jenny March just perfectly. In a two months period, it gained 100 thousand streams on Spotify announcing Jenny’s successful arrival.
On the track, sunny synths and finger-snaps brush up against her lyrics, full of words, which could be easily used as hashtags, for instance, #buzzedup #californiadaze #inlove, etc.
The song “California Daze” tells listeners the story of being lost in California. Guy and a girl started from just having a quick talk and ended up hooking up. Jenny wants to convey the message that it is extremely easy to go out of control in California. That’s what the ‘Daze’ means. March herself is not looking for a relationship that is going to last for a few days/weeks. She is not that sort of girl and beliefs only in serious adult relationships.
