Auburn Road is an American country pop group that includes Paxton Martin, Alicia Paulson, and Kristen Brown. The band was officially formed in 2013, although the participants sang together before that.

The girls were born in Sacramento, the capital of California. From an early age, each of them loved to sing, and people around them began to notice it. Of course, among those who saw this first was their parents. Although the girls did not know each other in early childhood, they had no idea how similar their lives would be.

Seeing the tremendous vocal potential, each of them got into the vocal studio at the age of 8. It was in one of these studios that they met. Since then, their lives will be linked. After a short time, Paxton, Alicia, and Kristen became friends. Although each of them loved different styles of music at that time, there was one that appealed to all three - country music. Although they didn't think they would sing in the band, girls were already doing it as friends.

For a while, they and some other vocalists performed as members of a vocal studio, but in 2013 that changed. One of the reasons for such changes was Michael Anderson, whom the girls became acquainted with thanks to the choreographer they were working with at the time. He was one of those who persuaded them to start a serious career as a group.

The band was officially formed in 2013, and Michael himself helped them in every way to learn about show business and reach new heights. Great voices with a large vocal range, as well as strong friendships, helped the girls to reach heights quickly enough. Sometime after the creation of the group, they were already invited to various events, which in turn were noticed by even more people. A quick and powerful start helped Auburn Road to release his debut EP "Fancy" 2 years after the beginning of their active career.
Most of the songs on this album were written based on their own experiences and life situations, but there were some exceptions. For example, the song "Friday Night Lights" was inspired by movies and TV shows. A song like "Fancy" was written based on an event that happened during the album writing process. One of Kristen's friends called and said that the guy had left her. This was the impetus to write a song that will highlight how important it is to be with family and loved ones in times of trouble.
Currently, their careers continue to grow. They have already shared the stage with artists such as Canaan Smith, Granger Smith, Drake White, J. T. Hodges, and others. The album "Fancy" featured Tally Kennedy, drummer Rich Redmond, and guitarist Kurt Ellison. With their help, the pop-country style was mixed with the rock style, making the album feel much more dynamic and will appeal to most of the audience. Also, Auburn Road periodically holds live online concerts and, for many years, continues to post their covers of songs on YouTube.

In addition to great vocals, the girls can play instruments such as piano, bass, and drums. Auburn Road had time to perform at many shows, events, and other venues during their career. Among the most notable is the performance at one of the largest exhibitions of musical equipment in the world, NAMM, as well as the performance of the anthem at the finals of Superprestigio Flat Track in Vegas in 2015. Thanks to these performances, even those listeners who did not pay much attention to country music were able to learn about them.
